The cultural center is located in the Eixample, in the place that was the site where had place the historical Sala Gaspar from 1927.

It is intended for the exhibition of edited books, art exhibitions and other cultural events.

This public activity on the ground floor is complemented by various services in the lower floor.

The project aims to highlight the void and the visualization of the great depth of space. The perception of this depth can already be perceived from the road thanks to the openings in the transversal walls and the colors of the background.

The visitors' path is characterized since the beginning from the main elements of the composition: the iron columns, the original bright stone floor contrasting with the new dark one and the foundamental colors of the printing system (white, black, magenta, yellow and light blue).

The same idea was followed in the façade which remains free of external elements. The surface of the room is 1,041 m², 643 m² on the ground floor and 398 m² on the lower level.
